WRMS 2nd Quarter: Part 1

  • Bella Smith, 7th grade cello player, plays at Wanamaker Elementary on November 11th as part of the 7th grade music tour. Smith got to play a solo for the kids at Wanamaker because that is the elementary school she went to before coming to WRMS.

  • 8th graders Jadyn Barnett & Lucy Hundley hang up posters for the WRMS WERC Program’s Fundraiser. They are raising money to help build a new school in Rwanda. 20% of the funds will go to help Imana Kids, a program that helps street kids and orphans. The owners, Kira and Ryan Higgins, have the plans to open a trauma informed school, foster care homes, community center and health clinic. Caption by MyLee Mullins.

  • Seventh grade students pass from class to class in the hallways. All WRMS students get four minutes to get to their next class. Many students use it as a social time to talk to friends before a 45 minute class.
