This fall sports season included 7th & 8th football, girls tennis, 7th & 8th volleyball, and cross country. Check out the gallery to see photos from the season!

  • On September 7th, Keaton Chooncharoen and the 8th grade football team took on Junction City at the high school football field.

  • On August 31st, the 7th grade football team takes on Shawnee Heights at Bowen-Glaze stadium in their first game of the season. Brixton Schwinn played for the 7th grade football team. Schwinn said “My favorite game was Junction City because I had 4 touchdowns.”

  • At the football game on October 5th, Isaiah Whiteside runs the ball while the team blocks for him against Manhattan Eisenhower.

  • Ava Fritz serves the tennis ball on September 8th at the girls tennis meet.

  • At the tennis meet on September 5th, Coach Garland talks to his girls tennis team. Coach Garland says ‘’My favorite part of the tennis season is the team camaraderie. All the girls get along great and have fun competing against each other in drills.’’

  • The 8th grade volleyball team poses for a group photo at the WRMS Invitational on September 16th. Coach Lindstrom says “My favorite part of the season was honestly the girls. They were a group that was competitive, kind, funny, and aggressive! They would hit the floor for anything.’’

  • During a time out on September 18th the 8th grade volleyball team huddles up as a team during a timeout.

  • On September 25th at the A team Volleyball Quad, 8th grader Grace Holland hits the volleyball over the net while her team watches.

  • 7th graders Morgan Munson, Carly Lafond, and Quinn Nolte run the course at the cross country meet at WRMS on September 21st.

  • Before the meet, the 8th graders on the cross country team pose silly for a photo. Duke Graf says “My favorite opponent to run against was Henry Laubach. Even though he was on my team he was always the only one ahead of me that I had to beat.”

  • The 7th grade girls cross country team stretches before their first-ever home meet on September 21st.
