From pumpkin pie to turkey, there are so many Thanksgiving foods. What is your favorite? A survey was sent around WRMS asking for favorite Thanksgiving foods. In first place, pumpkin pie was chosen over foods like turkey, ham, and apple pie. 8th grader Gigi Newhouse said that pumpkin pie is her favorite Thanksgiving food. “It just tastes so good,” she said. Newhouse believes in keeping traditions alive like having pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. “I think it definitely should be served,” She said. “It is like a tradition to have it every Thanksgiving. It is just so amazing.”
While some people believe that pumpkin pie is the best Thanksgiving food, others said that they don’t like Thanksgiving food. “I’d rather eat cereal.” 7th grader Annabelle Brown said.
Whether your favorite Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie or cereal, hopefully you still stuffed yourself and had a great Thanksgiving.
