As winter nears, so do a few babies are coming as well. A few teachers around the building are expecting in a few months. The teachers who are pregnant are Mrs. Bertels, Mrs. Rainey, (WAVE) and Mrs. Moritay. (Champions)

Mrs. Moriarty had some information to provide about her pregnancy, “I am having a boy.” Moriarty is expecting big changes in her life; her students have remained consistent and supportive throughout her pregnancy so far, “Some students have been nicer, but overall, not a big change.” Moriarty is due toward the end of the year, “I am due on April 18th.” she said. 

The WAVE team had a big reveal in advisory on November 17th. It turns out not one person is pregnant, but two. Mrs. Bertels, the history teacher on WAVE, has been very happy about her results, “I am having a boy.” There is very positive support from students, “They have a lot of questions about me and the baby,” says Mrs. Rainey. Rainey is the math teacher on WAVE, and she doesn’t want to know the gender of the baby yet. “We are going to be surprised. So we won’t know until they are born.” Both teachers on WAVE will have their baby due sometime in the 4th quarter. More specifically, Rainey is expected to have her baby May 16, 2024.
