On Saturday, December 2nd, at Bonner Springs High School, the WRMS boys wrestling team takes a break during the tournament. 7th grader Tremelle Alexander-Penrod said, “We were all lying on the floor like we were having a sleepover in the middle of the meet.”
On November 13th, 7th grader Zayne Hancock wrestles a boy from Junction City at WRMS and ends in a wonderful win. He had a worthy scratch on his forehead that shows he worked hard.
8th grader Caleb Schwartz throws an opponent from Junction City on the ground and wins the match. Schwartz was happy with the win. “I was thinking, alright now that I have him, and I slammed him, it should be an easy win.”
7th grader, Andrew Peterson, at Centennial Middle League (CML) wrestles his opponent on Saturday December 9th. Peterson said “My favorite part of middle school wrestling is probably the tournaments.”
