Vivi Ndung’u informs students about the weekly topic in the library, on October 30th. Ndung’u felt called to be a leader, “It just seemed like a better way to get more involved with Christ, especially in school. At school it’s really hard to stay connected with Him because there are so many different distractions that can lead you away from God.”
Ava Fritz, Anna Fowler, and Arianna Heble pray over the week on October 30th, after listening intently to the message. Fritz uses the lesson in her daily life, “I find the club helpful because it helps me stay centered and it helps me stay focused.”
On December 6th, Braiden Joost and Ellie Vogel serve Chick-Fil-A to the girls basketball team at an FCA dinner, an event which was held and to inform athletes about the club.
Makenna Lee directs the dessert table at the FCA girls basketball event on December 6th. Lee says that you have support when you are in the club, “I like that I am able to spread the word of God with my peers and to know that I am not alone in my walk with God.”
At FCA on October 30th, students gather into a group in the library to talk about the lesson of the week. 7th grader Payton Tryhus, looks forward to possibly being a leader, “I think I want to be a leader, because it looks really fun.”
