Many changes have been happening around WRMS, including renovations for the new library. Construction on the library started on August 1 of 2024. Mrs. Baranski, Mr Haire, and Rich Jones, among others, have all worked hard to plan and reconstruct the WRMS library.
The ongoing construction in the library is to create a new modern updated space. Those involved in the planning process wanted the WRMS library to be bigger and more innovative.”I want all the students and staff to feel welcome in the library space and take advantage of the new design, the materials, and the services the library has to offer,” said Mrs. Baranski( WRMS head librarian).
New and exciting updates are coming to the library. Baranski (head librarian of WRMS) said, “It will have a new library classroom with updated tech, three glassed-in study pods for students, a campfire seating area for cozy reading, and all brand new paint, carpet, and furniture.”
The new library space will provide many opportunities and a new space for students to work and read. They will add in breakout rooms to give the students the opportunity for students to have a more calming and quiet space to work.“The space will have 3 breakout rooms and classrooms for collaboration as well as provide students academic support in classes and provide a space for them to get lost in reading,” Head Principal, Mr. Haire said.
Many are excited to see the new library. It won’t be just students taking advantage of the new space , but also the staff. The library is expected to be finished in time for the 2025-26 school year, for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to enjoy.

By Jove! The Seventh Graders are going to have a wild whoopee and have a passion literature kindled and cultivated for years to come.
It’s truly dimming my day that I’ll be High School at that point.
