Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and many students and teachers are making plans for the holiday and getting in the Thanksgiving spirit.
8th grade SFA teacher Ms. Hundley said, “I am thankful for my health, family and friends, job, and students.” Hundley also plans on attending the Chiefs game over her Thanksgiving break.
7th grader Conner Beerdslee is very excited about Thanksgiving. “I am thankful for my family, food, and my dog Millie.” Conner’s favorite thing to eat for Thanksgiving is Turkey.
8th graders Ethan Lake and Jenica Passow are both thankful for their families. Lake said, “I am most thankful for my family because we all support each other.”
7th grader Avery Kennedy said her favorite Thanksgiving food is turkey and homemade mashed potatoes. Kennedy, who loves sports, said she is most thankful for her basketball team, her family, and the WRMS XC team.
Mrs. C, the 7th-grade Eclipse Reading Plus teacher, is most excited for the break because she has a Friendsgiving with all of her family and friends.
I hope this has got you in the Thanksgiving spirit. Have a great Thanksgiving, and remember to always be thankful for what you have.
