It’s getting close to Christmas, what do you have on your list? The WRMS Newspaper staff surveyed students, and we got the top 12 Christmas presents that teens are asking for. Ready, set, gift!
#1- Ugg Tasman
If you asked for Ugg Tasman slippers, you asked for the top gift just like Briella Parker, Ashlynn Chooncharoen, and 11 others. Ashlynn told us, “They are slippers, but they can be worn out.”
#2- Airpods/Beats/Headphones
Many people asked for Airpods and Beats. People that ask for these like to listen to music a lot. Some people like on brand and some don’t. We had one survey answer and they asked for no name brand headphones just they are greatly to have some to listen to music on.
#3- Money/gift cards
Money is the top three, the WRMS newspaper assumes that money and gift cards are in the top three because you can buy anything with it and birthday presents.
#4-Clothing
Clothing was labeled as #4, this is because we had many varieties of clothing such as Nike Techs, Adidas Ultra boosts, Lululemon Scubas, etc.
#5-Instruments
Instruments are number five because we had many people that asked for Bass guitars, pianos, and harmonicas. Christian Bennet told us what a Harmonica is and why he wants it. He said it’s, “A harmonica is a country fancy instrument, and I want it to play music on.”
#6-Tickets to concerts
The sixth spot goes to Tickets to people’s favorite artists, comedians, and cruise tickets. People asked for this maybe because it will be a fun experience for them and it makes them happy.
#7-Owala water bottles
An Owala water bottle is a water bottle with a straw area and a bigger drinking hole so that if you wanted more liquid at a time there is a bigger spout that you just tilt over. They are insulated to keep your drinks cold. They also can come with a handle like another popular brand Stanley’s. But the more trendy bottle is a leak-proof bottle.
#8-Food/Candy
Many people asked for food and mostly candy, there wasn’t a specific type of candy that was asked for in the survey. We assume people want candy in their stockings as their stocking-stuffers.
#9-Room Decorations/Vanities
We had some votes for room decorations and vanities. Vanities are dressers that have a mirror and lights and it usually hold makeup, hair products, or jewelry.
#10-Apple iPhone
There were many people that asked for the purple iPhone 14. Many people like iPhones because they have great camera quality and they have good apple intelligence.
#11- A puppy
We saw a few votes for a puppy on the survey, Gabby Stack tells us she wants a miniature Dotson, “I want a Miniature Dotson because they are cute and tiny!”
#12-A Dyson Airwrap
A Dyson Airwrap is the last Christmas present that multiple people asked for. The Dyson Airwrap is a multi-use hot tool that can be used to curl, straighten , and blow dry with just hot air. They can be used for all hair types and textures.
We think that this year’s list is almost the same as last year but with a few changes. This year’s list was so interesting and very intriguing.
