Green Club helps keep WRMS growing and glowing!

On April 4, eighth graders Manny Martinez and Alex Bettis cuts tallgrass in front of WRMS to make the school look nicer. Martinez’s favorite part of Green Club is helping the environment, “ Just helping the environment and doing good things for the school, ” he said.

On April 4 Zoie Baier separates flowers into pots at WRMS for Green Club. Baier would recommend Green Club to others because of the fun activities they do. “ I would recommend it and we get to do fun activities, like we got to build benches and it’s just a relaxing time,” she said.

On April 4, eighth grader Hadley Zeller waters plants outside WAVE pod to sustain the plants. Zeller joined Green Club as a way to be proactive during advisory , “ I joined Green Club because I wanted something to do in advisory while still being proactive,” she said.

On April 11, Mrs. Louderback shows her Green Club members where they are going to be recycling at WRMS to keep the school clean. Mrs. Louderback said that as the instructor of Green Club that they hope to take care of the school, earth, and the community, “As a member of the Green Club, we aim to actively seek ways to reduce human impact on the environment through responsible choices and actions. We take pride in caring for my school, my community, and the earth, working together to make a positive difference. We promise to lead by example, inspire others, and take action to protect and preserve our planet,” she said.

On April 4, eighth graders Bo Loeffler, Blake Loeffler, Cooper Strathman, and Riley Kaufman build a bench for Green Club during advisory outside the seventh grade pod to make a nice place for students.
