Caught in the Act(ivities)

A biking group in 3rd hour PE listens to Garland as he explains the routes they will be taking outside.

Seventh grader Sophia Heble shows Mrs. Roney her water bottle boat in 1st hour science on May 7th.

Eighth grader, Will Morrison, plays percussion during an advisory rehearsal held by Mrs. Lambotte on April 20th, Will says“I like percussion, because it’s just like, my subject is pretty easy it’s really laid back everyone’s just kind of cool in it.” on April 29th

Eighth graders Reese Elliot and David Heider play volleyball at Wave Wednesday during advisory on April 30th in Gym A. Reese says “I like Wave Wednesdays because you get to do things with friends in advisory.”

3rd hour FACS gets ingredients to make muffin batter on May 6th. Isaiah Sexton says preparing the muffins was not hard because “I am used to baking and Mrs. Harshbarger taught us well.”

The HEAT team plays football and socializes outside in advisory on May 7th.

8th graders Cannon Haugsness, Roman Shields, Julius Wood-Nichols, and Jace Jackson on the Wave team examine trees for science on May 4th.

Seventh grader Maci Cavitte demonstrates Newton’s third law by hitting a plate with the end of a broom to show that the egg falls into the bottom cup in 3rd hour science on April 26th.

All Stars Science teacher Mrs. Campbell pushes seventh grader Corinne Parker in 3rd hour on a scooter to demonstrate Newton’s second law. Parker says “I like learning about newton’s laws because we get to use real life examples.”

Seventh grader Braylon Gray plays chess in advisory in the WERC room on April 23. Gray says “I’ve been playing chess since kindergarten, so that would be around 7-8 years.”
