Eighth grader Drake Griffith is warming up at high jump for the relay meet on May fifth at WRHS track. He said, “I didn’t do it last year, and I wanted to try it this year because I thought I would be good at it.” Drake participates in several events, including “long jump, high jump, and triple jump.”

Eighth grade track runner Quinn Nolte helps mark the shot put throws, at a home track meet on May 5. Nolte has ran multiple events at track meets. “My favorite was the 4×4 because it was the shortest to run,” she said.

At a WRMS track meet eighth grader Morgan Munson does her triple jump to support her track team on may 5. “I do track because its a fun sport, I get to hangout with friends and also get a good workout.”she said.
