  • 8th grader Alayna Starkebaum shows emotion at the football game on October 6th against Manhattan Eisenhower. “I love watching the football games, there’s always so much energy and action. It’s always fun,” Starkebaum said.

  • The 8th grade band class practices for marching band during 3rd hour on Wednesday Sept 8. 8th grade trumpet player Cade Danielson said, “If I didn’t play the trumpet I would probably play the tuba because it sounds really cool.”

  • The SWAT 2nd hour SFA class goes out on the challenge course on Tuesday, September 6th. The class tried overcome the obstacle of balancing the log by weight. 8th grade Swat student Cole spitler said “Let’s go!” after the class finally completed the obstacle.

  • 7th grader Elijah Guyton runs the ball past Anthony Middle School at the game on Thursday September 29th. They later lost the game but fought hard. 7th grade Tight End Keaton Chooncharoen said, ”It was a tough game.”

  • The HEAT team’s 4th hour SFA class takes on the challenge course on Oct. 8th. 8th grader Giovanni Rutherford understood what he needed to complete the broken bridge. “I needed to have someone else to hold the bar under me to keep it balanced, and then I needed to use the pole next to me to keep myself airborne long enough to get past the line,” Rutherford said.

  • Landon Baker (8) practices his violin on October 7th in class. Baker plays the violin in 2nd Hour orchestra. Miranda Butler (8), also in 2nd hour orchestra, said she chose to play the violin “because I like to play string instruments and its the highest one so not many people like to play it.”
