The “Forest Walk,” or the main hallway at WRNMS, will house both the cafeteria and the library. Construction workers work on the New Middle school everyday, 42 hours a week. “We work every day, and there are about 100 workers each day,“ district technology specialist Patrick Clear said.

The school board is working to ensure equality among the two middle schools, “Kids at WRMS will have the same access to the same opportunities as kids at the WRNMS, while building the new school we have also been trying to update the current middle school, like incorporating natural lighting and things like that.” Dr. Stoltenberg said.

Joost said, “I have been playing since 3 years old, and my dad wanted me to play.” He said his favorite memory is throwing tennis balls at people during tennis practice, and his favorite shot to do in a meet is an overhead.

On April 19th, the varsity track team gathers together before they start the meet at Seaman. The track coaches Roney and Louderback gave the team some encouraging advice. Roney said, “You’re getting ready to have a meet, so do your best and give it your all. Somebody wants to be in your spot, so do the best you can. It doesn’t matter what place you get, distance you run, throw, or how far you jump. Leave the meet knowing that you gave it your best.”
