Are your advisories boring? Well, on the Wave team, we don’t deal with boredom. Every Tuesday, the Wave team either goes outside or to the gym for advisory for what is called “Tidal Wave Tuesday.” You can sit and talk with your friends, play football, soccer, and volleyball, and play on your computer, but the people with five or more missing assignments have to stay inside and do their work.

Wave students love Tidal Wave Tuesdays. 8th grader Karessa Shook said, “I love sitting around and talking with my friends.” If you don’t want to sit with your friends, you could be on your computer or as 8th grader Hailey Roberts said “ You get to play with footballs and be with your friends.” Makalya Hainline said she loves “hanging out with friends because it is a nice extra time to hang out with them if you don’t have classes together.”

Tidal wave Tuesday is super fun for most kids and also helps the other kids to their work and pass classes. The Wave team should definitely keep the tidal wave Tuesday for the other kids going to 8th grade.
