8th graders Jadyn Barnett & Lucy Hundley hang up posters for the WRMS WERC Program’s Fundraiser. They are raising money to help build a new school in Rwanda. 20% of the funds will go to help Imana Kids, a program that helps street kids and orphans. The owners, Kira and Ryan Higgins, have the plans to open a trauma informed school, foster care homes, community center and health clinic. Caption by MyLee Mullins.

The HEAT team’s 4th hour SFA class takes on the challenge course on Oct. 8th. 8th grader Giovanni Rutherford understood what he needed to complete the broken bridge. I needed to have someone else to hold the bar under me to keep it balanced, and then I needed to use the pole next to me to keep myself airborne long enough to get past the line,” Rutherford said.
